Meet Sang

1- Hey Sang, can you introduce yourself?

I’m Sang, mom to Minu(dog) and Leo(cat).

I love animals and flowers and love to create anything cute and pretty. This being said I am also an advocate of the earth medicine and believe in natural healing. 

2- Can you take us through your journey to where you are now?

I’m learning about tattooing and working on a couple of new art projects. Trying to focus on all the things that make me happy and inspired.

3- What is a day in the life of you like?

1. Taking care of my dog, cat

2. Drawing, painting, tattooing 

3. Teaching art, yoga, Pilates 

4- Can you highlight your 3 favourite Pilates exercises?

Breathing

Pelvis floor activation 

Any posterior chain exercises 

5- Can you tell us what areas you have struggled in professionally?

Sometimes I find it challenging to be 100% present.

6- What do you believe are the common misconceptions about Pilates?

That Pilates is meant for women. Many men do Pilates and more should try.

7- What is the best piece of business advice you have received to date?

When it comes to customer care treat one person as if you treating 250 potential clients. 

8- What is the number 1 critical lesson you have learned in your career so far?

Be passionate about what you do and put a lot of heart into it.

9- How do you create an evenly balanced work and personal life?

I haven’t figured that out.

10- Which other leading entrepreneurs and pioneering game changers do you also admire and why?

Alissa coe, the ceramic artist 

Hancock, the tattoo artist

I got to know Alissa when I worked for her as an artist assistant a while ago and got to know Hancock recently as she is currently working at my tattoo shop as a guest artist from Korea.

Their attitude towards what they create as artists motivates me to become more awake, aware and be in the present moment.

11- How do you define success?

Being able to align your thought, emotion and action.

12- What’s it like working at The Cornerstone Pilates? 

You know you are working with someone who puts heart into what they do. You feel safe, non judged and valued.
